316L Stainless Steel Wire. You will receive a 500ft spool.

You might have used 316L SS before but we decided to change it up a bit and we made sure to have the new KP 316L SS wire annealed to the same KPSI as Kanthal.  After further testing this wire is right in between the same KPSI as KA1 and N80.  This will allow you to create all those awesome builds you've made with KA1 and N80 without any issues of springy SS. KP 316L SS Wire can be used in wattage mode & temp control mode.  It is slightly lower in resistance when compared to N80.

Genuine DFARS Compliant Wire - Milled in the USA. (Not China Wire)

    Hair thin, Mirror Shine

Posted by Michael Howey on Feb 27th 2017

Huge Stainless Steel fan here, Temp control is my jam! This wire has an almost mirror sheen in the roll and it's probably thinner than a human hair which is crazy. Made up a few fused claptons for myself using 27g cores and a few single cores for emergencies and while it's taking some time to learn proper finger placement, this wire is really nice to wrap with. One thing I will say is that I had one strand imbed itself in my thumb nail (which I've since manicured) and that snapped the roll at that point. That was probably my fault but bare that in mind when wrapping here!
